cosmictragedyDemon heat cycles are a twelve day cycle that starts out mild and can become more aggressive or violent depending on who they are with during it. Their scent can affect other species into being interested in being their bed partner due to the pheromones they release. Princes can generally shift which gender they prefer to be, but depending on what time of year and which gender they are, they can succumb to that particular cycle, or its demanding needs.
Females
Their cycles are often in the spring, generally in April. There are the rare occasions that they take female lovers during this time. Those that are mated to females still need a male in the mix to satisfy them, especially after the sixth day. If they are pregnant, they will not go into heat, in fact, they have no desire to have sex at all.
Males
Their cycles cycles are often in September. It is not uncommon for males to have multiple partners or a male lover during this time. Those with mates tend to be more gentle, while those who just have a 'fuck buddy' will usually have a much more intense time. They can become increasingly more violent if they try to stave off their instinct to have sex during this period.
