Demon heat cycles are a twelve day cycle that starts out mild and can become more aggressive or violent depending on who they are with during it. Their scent can affect other species into being interested in being their bed partner due to the pheromones they release. Princes can generally shift which gender they prefer to be, but depending on what time of year and which gender they are, they can succumb to that particular cycle, or its demanding needs.

Females
Their cycles are often in the spring, generally in April. There are the rare occasions that they take female lovers during this time. Those that are mated to females still need a male in the mix to satisfy them, especially after the sixth day. If they are pregnant, they will not go into heat, in fact, they have no desire to have sex at all.

Males
Their cycles cycles are often in September. It is not uncommon for males to have multiple partners or a male lover during this time. Those with mates tend to be more gentle, while those who just have a 'fuck buddy' will usually have a much more intense time. They can become increasingly more violent if they try to stave off their instinct to have sex during this period.

Section One

A portal and planet wide organization created by the Tenth Doctor and the Master as a means to make up for all the trouble his Evil version caused. It uses the Time Agency as it's cover name. All members inside the organization have their parts to play and those not willing to do as their asked or told will be 'cancelled' a nicer term for being killed to keep their operations as secretive as possible. It is unknown how many operatives are in Section One as not every one knows everyone.

The objectives the organization has quite varying. They do what is for the greater good for everyone, efficiently and completely justified. To achieve those missions they range with assassination, abduction, torture, intimidation, murder, suicide ops, false imprisonment, and terrorist co-operation. 

Each field agent is issued a votex manipulator which allows them to travel through time if that is what their objective requires. These manipulators were designed by the Tenth Doctor and the Master. After every use Alan is responsible for making sure they are working correctly before each mission.

Claiming on Gotham is similar in a way to slavery and a form protection as the stronger take care of the weaker. It can be done in multiple ways and it can be refused as well, but the person must be able to show they are capable of being strong enough.


Vampire Mark
Vampire has a particular way of feeding on someone that leaves a scar and their scent. It can be agonizing to put on someone, and just as agonizing to remove by force. This type of mark lasts years, if not a lifetime if left alone. It can serve as protection or ownership. Those with the mark are more easily influenced to the vampire's charm.


Bloodline 
A claim made by family. Blood is everything on Gotham and this is no exception. Vampires consider this as a viable way when they turn someone to expand their vampire family. DNA plays a huge part in it as well for humans and other creatures such as direct  matching DNA markers from a father or a mother beats out the DNA of an aunt or a grandmother or cousin


Slavery 
There is 'human trafficking' done on Gotham, though it's done mostly through Gotham's underground. These are people who have been born and generally raised to be bought and sold to be household servants. People who bet big and lose can also pay the price with their freedom. Getting freedom is a rare.


Lover's Dominance 
Some men and women are generally more dangerous and have the right to bed who they want. They are often seen with one or two men that stick close by, it is assumed they are lovers. Most won't attempt 'poaching' a dangerous man or woman's lover since death is usually seen as the fair punishment. But often other forms of claiming usually follow to make it clear that their lover is taken.


Pet Rings
A form of uniquely made jewelry. Often visibly seen such as Rings, Bracelets, Necklaces, Earrings, Collars and even sold as cock rings. It is indestructible, custom fitting and inlaid with a unique system that only the Owner can remove the object from their pet without it causing pain to the person trying to remove it. 
The database has the information of all Pet ID's which consists of name, photo and number. Once activated the Owner can track their pet anywhere. It can also activate pain and pleasure at their discretion anytime, anywhere.


Devil Mark
Similar to a vampire mark. It is an arcane seal often seen on the back of the shoulder along with generally a bite mark that leaves a scar and their scent. The process is agonizing if left unfinished. (Left unfinished for too long the person will likely die.) The mark cannot be removed once completed. It stops aging and prolongs the life of the one bearing the mark, but it does not grant immortality. 

Alaric - Henry's originating line. Peacekeepers and most suited to avoid conflict or political struggles where possible.  Most often nicknamed "Claiming King." They have an unusual control when it comes to most Paien or relatively docile Other World creatures. Before Nature's Law, it was not unusual for Faye or other creatures to be filled with a desire so great to be claimed by this line. After the Vampire War, the clan took to Earth to get away from having to assume the role as High King of Gotham

Tempesta - Angelus' originating line. Often controlling and sadistic, and most suited to creating as much conflict as possible to obtain what they want. Most often nicknamed "Mad King." They have an unusual obsession for family by ensuring their desired protege are just as 'mad' as they are and sexually attracted to their torturers. They often have a fine nose for seeking out gifted individuals and seldom have control over their desire to dominate it. Before Nature's Law, most of the line were woman dominating broken men. After the Vampire War, the clan was more than ever obsessed with obtaining the role of High King of Gotham permanently.


Viessa -  Most suited to ending conflict of both emotional and political nature.  Nicknamed the "Melodious King." They often have a gift for music whether it is by instrument or their voice. Before Nature's Law they were often considered muses to all Paien, often having their music stolen and credit not given where due. After the Vampire War they chose to use their music to lure any bewitched human or Paien to their den.


Nokomis - LaCroix's originating line. Charismatic, loyal  and most suited to handle any conflict with ease. Most often nicknamed "Duelist King." Due to their charisma and high intelligence they often were  great tacticians, warriors and leaders known for their loyalty. Before Nature's Law, they often engaged in war with the other Paien and humans. After the Vampire War, they assumed the role of High King first.


Izadora - Possessive and greedy. Most suited for war and hostel takeovers. Nicknamed the "Devouring King." Most noted for have the most insatiable appetite for beautiful things as well as blood. They have fed on every Paien and human, finding Faye and the magicians fill their void the best. They have even been known to feed on other younger vampires. Their greed has caused Azudell to destroy their only portal in attempt to keep their world safe. After the Vampire War it was rumored the High King ended their line.


Jaspar - Ambitious and artistic. Most are suited to handle political nature with a neutral stance.  Nicknamed the "Artisan King." They have a gift for building and creating things, most known for the 7 wonders of the world on Earth as well as the Eight Palaces in Gotham. Before Nature's Law they built at least one or more temples on various other worlds and had a hand in creating the portals. After the Vampire Wars, they were the second to refuse their role as High King.


Lorelei - Flippant, neutral and often dual personality. Most suited to avoid most conflicts by offering things in good nature.  Nicknamed the "Festival King." Often laid back and prefer to be sociable with a party or what they consider entertainment with good food/drink. Before Nature's Law they were the best at making any alcoholic beverage and hosting celebrations for just about everything. After the Vampire War they were most notably the most aggressive when severely offended or their celebration or mood ruined.


Aurelia - Charismatic,  smooth-talker. Well suited for talking their way out of any conflict as well as talking any Paien or human to do something for them in the name of love or lust. Nicknamed the "Passion King." Most noted to inspire passionate works of beautiful art by their incredible beauty. They often take credit for many forms of sexual acts including the creation of the Kama Sutra, orgies and bondage. Before Nature's Law,  they could seduce any Paien or human into their bed. After the Vampire War, they preferred to take those with high sexual energy into their beds. They relented on bedding virgins by decree of the High King Angelus.

A world similar to Earth but has a more futuristic and yet western type world. There are AI hotels, automail clinics that can help those who have lost limbs and spaceships that travel from planet to planet.  

Obitora

Flame Perfume: causes fire to burn the inhaler from inside out. Sometimes inhaling  and using controlled breathing techniques, is able to exhale fire like a flame thrower.

Retrogression/Devolution Perfume: turns the inhaler into a pre-historic, ape-like creature.

Time Limited Perfume: paralyzes the inhaler for a certain period of time, depending on the amount of poison used.

Puppet Perfume: a perfume that allows her to control the inhaler's movements against their will.

Trailing Perfume or Following Poison: when used, it leaves a trace scent on who, what, or wherever it's left on. This allows her to track an object's movements or to find a certain location.

Sleep Perfume: one whiff and the inhaler falls asleep instantly.

Acceleration Perfume: Himiko's most powerful and most dangerous perfume. It causes the inhaler's movements to become inhumanly faster, but three or more whiffs of the poison take a heavy toll on the user and is life-threatening.

Antidote Perfume: neutralizes the effects of other perfumes.


Other Created Poisons

Alpha - When ingested orally, shocks the main spinal ganglion, killing the subject in one to two seconds.

Apotoxin 4869 (APTX4869) -  It induces apoptosis, a programmed cell death in which it removes the signals that restrain the cell from self-destructing. Unbeknownst to her and the syndicate, APTX4869 does not kill 100% of the time, but occasionally causes the human body's cellular structure to physically regress to a significantly younger state. A surviving victim may become 10 years younger.

Beijing Cocktail - A Chinese synthetic chemical that slows vital organ function until eventually those organs stop. Approximate time to live after injection is one hour. Symptoms include severe grogginess, blurred vision, and chest pain. To prolong life, the victim must do things that will increase his adrenaline, eat candy and do pills such as caffeine pills, energy pills, speed, fat burner pills, metabolism increasing pills, etc., and drink caffeinated and energy drinks. Also, epinephrine acts as a competitive inhibitor to this molecule and can be put into an insulin pump, however, it will only stave off the inevitable organ failure and death, as no antidote exists.

Dark Water - A dangerous red liquid that seeps up from the Deep Caverns. If a Slug is exposed to Dark Water vapor, they will be corrupted into a Ghoul with enhanced power, a pack mentality, and a high level of unpredictability. Other life forms will become ghost-like and incorporeal if they inhale the substance. It can also be used to cause machinery, such as Mecha Beasts, to malfunction. Dark Water can only be purified by a healer Slug.

Dragon Sand - A toxin that makes the user feel better than they have ever felt except that three days later, the victim bursts into flames. It creates toxic vapor when it comes into contact with any solid substance.

Furux - Developed from an organ of the meng lizard, this poison causes the inter-skeletal cartilage to dissolve, causing a persons body frame to go completely limp.

Joker Venom -  A poison that causes rictus (fixed grin) after victims expire. Contact with Joker Venom causes uncontrollable spasms of laughter and then causes a painful death, the victim's face contorted into a hideous-looking smile. The effect comes from hyper-stimulation of the laughter functions of the brain and the victim is unable to breathe. Possibly an organophosphate acetylchloinesterase inhibitor. An adaptation could use non-lethal variants in some adaptations that cause paralysis.

Nightbane - A hallucinogen poison that causes its victim to experience increasingly horrible nightmares every time they sleep until an antidote is administered.

Passion Flower - A flower with hidden needles capable of poisoning the casual investigator. The poison causes severe pain any time the victim thinks about love. A small dose wears off after three days or so, but if one falls into a field of the flowers, they will die slowly over a period of 36 days. Although there is an antidote, the recipe has been lost for years.

Suicide-inducing neurotoxin - An airborne chemical toxin produced by plants. The first stage of exposure is confused speech, the second stage is physical disorientation, and the third stage is fatal. It is explained: "Our brains come equipped with a self-preservation mechanism to stop us from harmful actions. This is controlled by a combination of electrochemical signals in the brain. The blocking of neurotransmitters by certain toxins has been proven to cause hallucinations, asphyxiation, and paralysis. This new neurotoxin is basically flipping the preservation switch, blocking neurotransmitters in a specific order, causing specific self-damaging and catastrophic effects." Simply put, it makes a person kill themselves.

Unnamed poison - An unnamed green-blue liquid that is only described as "an unstable isotope". Initial effects include red spots on the skin and a purple tongue, followed by violent bloating, before causing the victim to explode. Consumption of this substance leaves the victim a few minutes before exploding.
